The Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ
And the love of God
And the fellowship of The Holy Spirit
Be with us all evermore
A voice cries out: “In the wilderness prepare the way of the Lord, make straight in the desert a highway for our God. Every valley shall be lifted up, and every mountain and hill be made low; the uneven ground shall become level, and the rough places a plain. Then the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all people shall see it together, for the mouth of the Lord has spoken.”
A Thought for Today
There are times when the going is not easy. It is as if we were in a storm, and the waves are high. All too often we have the sense of sinking. Life gets on top of us. He, incredibly, remains asleep. We are left to cope as best we can.
Then the words, and they betray a little disappointment as he speaks: “Why are you fainthearted, men of little faith?”
He wants our trust when trust is hardest to give.
